Welcoming Tilda

I had the pleasure of holding a six day old baby this past weekend. Our friends Eric and Ericka blessed the world with a new baby girl. We’re all madly in love with their older daughter Amelia so we’ve been anxious for the arrival of Tilda for some time.

There’s nothing quite like holding a newborn baby in your arms. Watching their little movements and hearing their little sounds. It just makes everything around you fall away. At least that’s what it does for me.

I can’t wait to get to know this little girl! For now, she’s a little bundle that I can take photographs of and imagine who she may turn out to be. I do have to say, she did have the biggest yawn that I’ve ever seen!

Congratulations to Eric and Ericka on their newest addition! I know that life has been full and interesting and fun for your family. It’s about to turn up a few notches, on all levels! 😉
