You Can See The Love – The Blatcher Family

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, one of my most favorite clients are the ones that don’t want to be photographed. I just love transforming the way a person sees themselves. I love getting the chance to show someone how I see them. Beautiful, in love, genuine, whatever shows up during the time that we spend together. Emma lives in the neighborhood and our kids go to the same school. I could tell for months that she wanted her family photographed but couldn’t figure out how to do that without having herself in the picture. I think if she could have gotten away with it, she would have had her family hold up a sign that said, “insert mom here”.

When I offered my mini sessions a while back she didn’t have any more excuses, so she flagged me down one day and bought a slot.

Emma is a wildly fun woman with an English accent that every time you meet her you wind up laughing from her stories. I don’t know if she realizes just what a beautiful spirit she is but everyone around her knows it. That you can bet on. The other thing I adore about her is her relationship. They’ve been married 15 years and are still madly in love. She posts on FB all the time the sweetest little notes about how much in love she is and how he still rocks her world. It’s an inspiration. Truly.

Emma, you are beautiful. You have two of the MOST well-behaved children I’ve ever photographed and to spend time with you and your family was pure joy. I’m so excited that you loved the photographs. So much so  that we get to do it all over again in the spring/summer and at the beach.

I can’t wait!!
